Research questions and Objectives


Research question: 

• What are the positive effects of integrating music and technology on English learning in primary school students? 

Sub-questions: 

• How can activities with visual resources improve vocabulary learning in third-grade students? 

• To what extent does music facilitate the proper pronunciation and intonation of English in children aged 7 to 10 years? 

• How is it possible to adapt topics from the subject with songs in English that impact the group's written production?

Objectives

General objective

Strengthen listening skills using music as a pedagogical strategy with students aged 7 to 10 from the Colegio Integrado del Carare of Cimitarra, Santander.

Specific objectives

• Use music as a tool to perfect the understanding of English sounds and phonemes, as well as internalize rhythmic patterns and natural intonations of the language.

Enrich the vocabulary of the English language in 3rd and 4th-grade students through exposure to song lyrics that contain diverse terms and expressions.

Design activities that integrate listening with other linguistic skills, such as speaking and writing within the Primary Education classroom.
