Research focus

In the context of research on technology in ELT, the mixed approach can be a powerful tool to better understand how technologies can improve language learning and how teachers can integrate them effectively into the classroom, in this case in relation to implementation of music in English classes, considering the following aspects:

➢ The selection of data collection instruments that are valid and reliable for the specific context of the study. 

➢ The careful analysis of data to identify convergences and divergences between different approaches.

➢ Contrast and verify data from different sources, increasing the reliability of the results. 

➢ The preparation of a final report that coherently integrates the results of the different methods.
